ReleaseAlp SDK v0.16 — Renode is retired, CC3501E firmware v0.3.0 ships OTA_PROMOTE, and Fedora and Rocky hosts get a bootstrap command they can actually run
The Renode simulator leaves the SDK completely — verb, CI workflows, platform models, fixtures and example — with no replacement planned and the cost stated plainly. Alongside it: the CC3501E companion firmware cuts v0.3.0 on wire protocol 4, non-Debian Linux hosts stop being handed an apt-get command they cannot run, and a default-off ONNX Runtime CPU floor lands for the Cortex-A55.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.15 — a dual-core flash release-blocker fixed on AEN801, DRP-AI3 reachable, four Linux backends land
On E1M-AEN801 the M55-HP and M55-HE images both linked to the same slot0 address, so flashing both cores silently overwrote one of them. That release-blocker is fixed, eight dual-core examples get the cache setting they were missing, the Renesas DRP-AI3 NPU becomes reachable from <alp/inference.h>, and display, i3c, storage and usb gain real Yocto backends.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.14 — a portable I3C controller class, bench-proven on AEN801
A new portable <alp/i3c.h> MIPI I3C Basic controller surface lands with a Zephyr backend on the Alif Ensemble E8, with controller init bench-proven on E1M-AEN801 and a live transfer still unproven. Bootstrap facts and the Zephyr-SDK toolchain pin move into data, and the hw_rev / SDK-version gate the docs had been advertising finally exists.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.13 — a CC3501E BLE GATT server, proven on real AEN801 silicon
A runtime BLE GATT server lands on the CC3501E companion and is proven PASS on physical E1M-AEN801 silicon (server-only — no central on the bench). The Zephyr BLE backend gains the same runtime GATT surface host-side, a new Yocto/Linux power backend uses /sys/power/state, and the legacy 31-byte advertising budget is now enforced identically across both BLE backends.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.12 — ADR-0020: the SDK is plans-only, tan is the sole build executor
The SDK retires its own build executor. alp-sdk now emits only a build-plan and a system-manifest; the standalone Rust tan CLI becomes the sole executor and the whole user command surface — tan build / flash / run / emit / validate / doctor / monitor replace the retired alp CLI. Emitted plans can also be made hermetic, and a new --emit scaffold generates a standalone per-SKU Zephyr app.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.11 — the Yocto image bakes end to end, and the gates that were green-by-skip now enforce
A full alp-image-edge bake for the e1m-v2n101-a55 machine now completes — 11168/11168 tasks — after three separate Yocto defects that had blocked every A-cluster build. Alongside it, a set of CI gates that were reporting green while enforcing nothing were made to actually run, and two AEN silicon-path bugs were fixed.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.10 — portable display path, hardened GD32 OTA, reproducible releases
The display and LVGL examples move off direct Zephyr driver calls onto the portable <alp/display.h> surface, with a lint that keeps them there. The GD32 supervisor bridge gets seven OTA fixes with the boot-select and erase paths validated on V2N silicon, and releases now ship a deterministic SBOM and a byte-reproducible tarball. A same-day v0.10.1 fixes a bootstrap bug that left west alp-build unresolvable.

ReleaseAlp SDK v0.9.0 — the alp CLI front door + portable-API conformance
One alp command drives build, run, flash, emit, doctor, and monitor across every E1M module. A 13-class × 8-case conformance suite becomes the gate for new SoM ports, portable SE-backed identity/power/peer-boot surfaces land, and I²C/SPI target mode goes real — alongside pre-1.0 breaking renames.

A second SoM family now carries silicon evidence: 15 of 17 peripheral apps PASS on real E8 hardware, with real NPU inference from MRAM on Ethos-U85, dual-core HE↔HP RPC, SE-CryptoCell compute, and the CC3501E Wi-Fi/BLE bridge. v0.8.1 follows with a repo-wide silicon-accuracy doc sweep.

Dedicated debug-console UART (DBG_TX/DBG_RX) added on E1M at AD3/AE3, mirroring E1M-X; E1M reserved-pad count drops 36 → 34. E1M-X Ethernet MDI pair order reversed. Loom form-factor stays 1.0 — a doc-level revision.

Alp SDK v0.7.0 — production Yocto image + OS-topology contract
A hardened alp-image-prod production image boots the V2N bench from eMMC, with reproducible firmware banners and a CA55 1.8 GHz opt-in. Per-core OS is now class-derived, and system-manifest v1 is pinned as the IDE/tool contract.

Alp SDK v0.6.0 released — first silicon-verified stack
The E1M-X V2N bench verified the GD32 supervisor bridge end-to-end: functional suite 26/26, 20-row HIL soak 253/253, A/B OTA, and wire protocol v0.7 with the stale-reply kill. AEN and i.MX 93 remain pre-HiL.
